Disciplines

If you haven’t yet tried your hand at the exhilarating and dynamic sport of pistol shooting, or only have a vague knowledge of the sport, or only limited experience of the sport of pistol shooting then there is a great adventure awaiting.

You might think there isn’t that much variety, structure or technique but actually, the sport of pistol shooting offers a great deal of variety and the Sporting Shooters Pistol Club ACT (SSPC) provide a wide and interesting range of disciplines, each with unique, fun and challenging matches.

The Disciplines provided by the SSPC are as below:

–       International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Discipline Air Pistol Discipline

–       Service Pistol Discipline

–       National Rifle Association Action Discipline

–       International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Discipline

–       Metallic Silhouette

–       Black Powder Discipline
